The Chocolate Bar in Grand Island, NE

My sister and I really wanted to see what this place was all about after seeing some mouth watering pictures on their facebook page.  So off to The Chocolate Bar we went.  We each tried something different.  I had the lemon raspberry cake, white chocolate truffle drink (alcoholic beverage), a pomegranate truffle, and the pesto bella sandwich.  The lemon raspberry cake was a lemon cake with a lemon frosting and raspberry filling that was creamy, fruity and delicious.  It was one of the best pieces of cake I’ve ever had and it was the highlight of my meal.  Everything else was good as expected, but if you go here that’s what I’d recommend trying the most.  A couple more of our favorites were the coffee, my dad’s favorite, and a piece of honey lavender cake, which was my sisters favorite and they are pictured below.  

Conclusion: The Chocolate Bar in Grand Island is a great option if you’re wanting some coffee and dessert.
